We work closely with children, parents, and foster homes, focusing on participation, respect, and cooperation. Our unit is divided into an authority group and open care, which allows us to work broadly and coordinated around our families.
In Kumla, we strive to offer our own foster homes to placed children as much as possible. This enables us to work in close teams around the placed children, teams consisting of foster home secretaries, child followers, and sometimes foster home therapists.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of Foster Home Secretary involves responsibility for investigating foster homes and emergency homes, recruiting and investigating contact persons and contact families, matching service providers, and supervising foster homes. The work as a Foster Home Secretary involves regular contact with the foster homes you are responsible for; you work on providing them with supervision and support so they can manage their assignments and give the child the best possible care during placement. As a Foster Home Secretary, you work closely with your Foster Home Secretary colleague but also closely with our child followers who are responsible for the child's placement.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who:
- have a degree in social work, behavioral science with additional training in social law, or other education that the employer deems suitable.
- are engaged, responsible, and secure in meetings with people
- enjoy working independently but also in a team
- have a B driver's license
Experience working with the target group of children and young people is meritorious. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
